Instructions

The International Journal of Economics, Management, Business and Social Science (IJEMBIS) publishes original research articles, conceptual papers, and critical reviews in the fields of economics, management, business, and social sciences. Manuscripts submitted must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

1. Scope of the Journal

IJEMBIS welcomes manuscripts related to, but not limited to:

  • Economics (micro, macro, development, public economics)
  • Management (HRM, strategic management, operations, marketing)
  • Business and Entrepreneurship
  • Accounting and Finance
  • Social Sciences and interdisciplinary studies related to economics and business

2. Manuscript Types

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Conceptual or Theoretical Papers

3. Language

Manuscripts must be written in English using clear and academic language. Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to seek professional language editing prior to submission.

4. Manuscript Preparation

  • Length: 5,000–8,000 words (including references)
  • Format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
  • Paper size: A4
  • Font: Book Antiqua, 11 pt
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Margins: 2.5 cm (all sides)

5. Structure of the Manuscript

Manuscripts should be organized in the following order:

  1. Title
  2. Author(s) name(s) (without academic titles)
  3. Affiliation(s) and email address
  4. Abstract (150–250 words)
  5. Keywords (3–5 keywords)
  6. Introduction
  7. Research Methodology
  8. Results and Discussion
  9. Conclusion
  10. References

6. Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstract must be written in English
  • Length: 150–250 words
  • Keywords: 3–5, separated by semicolons

7. Citation and References

  • Use APA Style (7th Edition)
  • References should mainly consist of recent sources (last 10 years)
  • Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero

8. Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively
  • Titles should be clear and placed above tables and below figures
  • Sources must be provided if adapted from other works

9. Ethical Considerations

  • Plagiarism is strictly prohibited
  • Manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software
  • The maximum similarity index allowed is ≤20%
  • All authors must comply with research ethics and publication ethics

10. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts must be submitted online through the IJEMBIS OJS system
  • Authors must register and log in to submit manuscripts
  • Incomplete submissions will be returned to authors

11. Peer Review Process

  • IJEMBIS applies a double-blind peer review
  • Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers
  • Editorial decisions are based on reviewers’ recommendations

12. Publication Fee

IJEMBIS applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support the editorial and publication process.

The APC for each accepted manuscript is IDR 400,000 and should be transferred to the following bank account:

Detailed information regarding publication fees and payment procedures is available on the journal website. Proof of payment must be submitted to the editorial office after acceptance of the manuscript.

All articles published in IJEMBIS are open access and distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
